3. Six Flags Great Adventure, Friday, May 18, 2018


The Chamber Orchestra of Coatesville Area Middle School traveled to Six Flags Great Adventure on Friday, May 18th, 2018 to get adjudicated at the Music in the Parks festival.  They ended up receiving a total score of a 92.00% with an overall rating of "Superior."  A "Superior" is the highest rating that a group can attain.  Out of ten instrumental groups that participated in the festival including middle school and high school bands and orchestras, the Coatesville Area School District (CASD) Combined Middle School Chamber Orchestra were one of only three groups to receive the highest rating of "Superior." It was a stellar performance!


The students worked hard all year, and we believe they got exactly what they deserved. CONGRATULATIONS!
